Smooth record loops causes FreeStyle to take notes in the bar preceding the record loop and duplicate them just before the end of the record loop so that you don’t hear a gap in the music when it repeats. Notes that are duplicated automatically when this option is turned on are indicated by a cross within the note as shown to the right.
